Education:

• Diploma in Medical Technology

• Phlebotomy / Medical Technology (Laboratory) from a recognized institution preferred.

• Experience in GCC-related sample collection (HIV, HBsAg, HCV, VDRL, etc.) will be preferred.

Job Context

JSK Group, a trusted healthcare organization operating GCC Medical Checkup Centers, a modern Hospital, and General Diagnostic facilities across Bangladesh, is looking for skilled and professional Phlebotomists. The selected candidates will be responsible for accurate and hygienic blood sample collection, ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality laboratory standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients for diagnostic and GCC medical check-up purposes following standard protocols.

• Identify patients correctly and label specimens accurately to avoid errors.

• Handle and store collected samples properly for laboratory analysis.

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards during and after phlebotomy procedures.

• Assist in collecting other biological samples (urine, stool, sputum, etc.) when required.

• Prepare collection kits, manage stock of needles, syringes, and tubes.

• Ensure patient comfort, particularly when dealing with children, elderly, or anxious individuals.

• Support the laboratory technologist and medical officers in daily operations.

• Maintain records of sample collections and coordinate with reception and lab teams.

• Follow all safety procedures and hospital policies strictly.
