Responsibilities & Context:

1. Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, compatibility testing, and transfusion-related investigations

2. Handle blood collection, screening, storage, and issue procedures

3. Prepare and manage blood components according to protocol

4. Maintain proper documentation and inventory of blood products

5. Ensure infection control and laboratory safety standards

6. Operate and maintain blood bank equipment and analyzers

7. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and laboratory personnel during emergency situations

8. Follow SOPs, quality assurance, and accreditation guidelines
