Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is essential.
The incumbent must be an A grade Pharmacist certified by Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
Experience relevant to pharmacy stock management is essential.
Similar experience in MSF or other NGOs.English and Bengali are essential.
Knowledge of Chittagonian/ Rohingya dialect will be an added advantage.
Essential knowledge of basic mathematics and use of measuring equipment.
Essential computer literacy (word, excel, powerpoint and internet).
Isystock literacy is a plus.

Stress Management
Job Context: Ensuring general functioning of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with MSF standards, protocols and procedures, in order to ensure its efficiency and operating availability.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring storage, stock management and supply processes, as well as hygiene and security procedures, tools, and protocols (controlling pests and rodents), implementing appropriate quality controls and records, in order to ensure good storage conditions (temperatures, humidity and light exposure) and availability of drugs and medical material, according to MSF protocols, national regulations and in cooperation with the logistics department.
Coordinating the delivery, reception and recording of international and local orders, in close coordination with the logistics department, updating stock files and informing line managers on their status (shortfalls, over-stocking, expiry dates), to permanently ensure security stock levels and ensure efficient management of stock.
Supervising orders of medical and drug material in order to ensure an efficient and appropriate consumption pattern under budget constraints.
Supervising the supply of drugs to patients, according to medical prescriptions, informing them on consumption patterns and keeping conditions in order to ensure their therapeutic progression.
Ensuring efficient supply to other pharmacies managed/supported by MSF according to orders and stocks and using cold chain when needed. Monitoring and analysing orders of depending on pharmacies in order to avoid ruptures of stock or having expired drugs.
Supervising, with the HR department, the associated processes (sizing, staff shifts, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal/external communication) of the pharmaceutical team and the nursing staff, in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required and to improve their dispensing capabilities.
Recording all items received and issued in computer (Isy stock) and reporting on drug consumptions and medical equipment dispensed according to protocols, informing on unusual patterns as well as forecasting future needs, in order to rationalise the budget and to ensure availability.
Assisting in training of nursing staff regarding dispensing of drugs and their side effects.
Ensure that the pharmacy inventories in the PHCs stocks and in end-user-units of the facilities are correctly done and according to the plan and that the pharmacy spaces are well arranged, in good storage conditions and always clean.
Ensure that Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP) are followed in the end user units (in collaboration with MAM, MHAM, MWAM, NAM, NTS), implementing a CAPA plan and stock management in PHCs level.
Ensure that damaged or expired items and batch recalls are well managed;Ensure timely & proper reporting (Consumption, Supply, Expired, rupture, extra order etc.).
Have a project pharmacy stock overview, including the indicators on rupture, pre-rupture & over-consume and sleeping stock.
Ensure & follow-up of accurate consumption, data collection from end-user-unit & data encoding and ensure that all pharmacy management tools are updated.
Manage the pharmacy orders of the facilities and ensure continued good collaboration with the pharmacy manager, other facilities Managers, and supply/WH team to allow smooth pharmacy management and support to medical team. Also, place and follow up on monthly printing and stationery orders.
Supervising pharmacy team, ensuring good teamwork, good collaboration, respect to MSF rules and regulations and good roster planning and leave management.
Demonstrate adaptation to the work conditions in the refugee camps, demonstrate flexibility and express readiness to work in stressful conditions.
Participate in the meetings and trainings organized according to plan for his/her information and learning purpose.
Assist and/or conduct trainings about pharmacy stock management and good pharmacy practices
Ensure good pharmacy activities management in the project facilities in collaboration with the Pharmacy manager, accurately and timely reporting for pharmacy activities (Sitrep, IMT, MMSR etc).
Participate in other activities under his/her scope of performance as needed and recommended by his/her supervisor.
Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Hired Staff (LHS).
Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction at source will be applicable based on the current income tax rule.
Festival bonus entitlement is effective upon completing one (01) year of uninterrupted services with MSF.
There are no provisions for relocations.
