Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre Ltd. is seeking qualified, patient-focused, and committed Pharmacists to join our Pharmacy Services team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physicians' orders.
Review prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
Provide medication counseling and educate patients on proper drug usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
Maintain accurate dispensing records and pharmacy documentation.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
Monitor medication inventory, expiry dates, stock levels, and storage conditions.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related issues.
Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper handling and documentation of narcotic and controlled medications.
Assist in formulary management and medication procurement activities.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or hospital management.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university.
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) will be considered an added advantage.
Must have a valid registration with the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
Experience Requirements
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with experience in hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy may be given preference.
