Position Summary

The Head of Nursing will serve as the senior-most nursing leader, responsible for strategic direction, clinical governance, and operational management of all nursing services. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving quality, enhancing patient outcomes, and aligning nursing practices with international standards and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the planning, development, and execution of nursing services

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across all clinical units

• Establish and enforce nursing policies, protocols, and evidence-based practices

• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance management of nursing staff

• Oversee clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, ISO)

• Develop and implement continuous professional development and training programs

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence

• Partner with senior management and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency

• Drive process improvement, digital transformation, and innovation within nursing operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification

• Valid professional nursing registration

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Demonstrated expertise in oncology nursing is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of hospital accreditation standards and clinical governance frameworks

• Proven leadership capability in complex healthcare environments
