  • Age At least 18 years
  • Strong clinical knowledge of nursing procedures, patient assessment, medication administration, and infection prevention protocols.

  • Practical experience in venipuncture, IV cannulation, ECG preparation, oxygen therapy, wound dressing, catheterization, specimen collection, and emergency nursing care.

  • Familiarity with overseas medical examination procedures and occupational health screening will be considered an added advantage.

  • Ability to operate standard hospital equipment including patient monitors, ECG machines, nebulizers, infusion pumps, suction machines, and oxygen delivery systems.

  • Sound understanding of hospital quality standards, patient safety practices, biomedical waste management, and nursing documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.

  • Strong interpersonal, counseling, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple clinical responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency situations when required.

  • Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)/Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Alongside its hospital services, the organization operates a GAMCA (GCC Approved Medical Examination Center), providing medical fitness examinations for overseas employment in GCC countries.

We are looking for competent, compassionate, and dedicated Staff Nurses who possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering quality nursing services, assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment, supporting emergency and routine clinical operations, and ensuring efficient healthcare services for both hospital patients and overseas medical examination applicants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing ethics, and international best practices.

  • Assess patients’ physical and psychological conditions and continuously monitor their progress throughout treatment.

  • Record and monitor patients’ vital signs, nursing observations, intake-output charts, and clinical status accurately.

  • Administer oral medications, injections, IV fluids, blood transfusions, oxygen therapy, nebulization, and other prescribed treatments.

  • Assist physicians during OPD consultations, IPD rounds, emergency management, minor surgeries, medical procedures, and diagnostic interventions.

  • Prepare patients before surgical procedures, diagnostic investigations, and specialist consultations while ensuring proper patient education and informed preparation.

  • Collect blood, urine, sputum, stool, and other laboratory specimens following standard collection and infection control protocols.

  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation, medication administration records (MAR), patient progress notes, treatment charts, and discharge summaries.

  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions, complications, or sudden deterioration and immediately communicate critical findings to the concerned physician.

  • Ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), patient safety policies, biomedical waste management, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of nursing stations, treatment rooms, emergency trolleys, and medical equipment.

  • Ensure proper sterilization, storage, calibration, and maintenance of nursing instruments and clinical equipment.

  • Educate patients and their family members regarding medications, nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.

  • Coordinate effectively with physicians, laboratory personnel, radiology, pharmacy, administration, and other multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Participate actively in shift handover by providing complete and accurate clinical information to ensure continuity of patient care.

  • Respond efficiently during medical emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions within the scope of professional practice.

  • Support hospital accreditation standards, patient safety initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patients’ medical records and comply with all ethical and legal healthcare standards.

  • Assist physicians during medical fitness examinations for GCC-bound expatriate workers.

  • Prepare applicants for medical examinations, physical assessments, laboratory investigations, X-ray procedures, ECG, and other diagnostic services.

  • Verify applicants’ identity, medical documents, and required examination records before initiating the medical screening process.

  • Assist in blood collection, specimen handling, labeling, and transportation while maintaining laboratory quality standards.

  • Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of medical examination reports according to GAMCA/GCC protocols.

  • Guide applicants throughout the medical examination process and provide necessary instructions regarding investigations and documentation.

  • Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, reception, and administrative departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal waiting time.

  • Maintain complete confidentiality of applicants’ medical information and examination reports.

  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention measures and international medical examination standards.
