Educational Requirements:
∎ 1-3 Years paramedic training from Bangladesh Technical Education Board (certificate in paramedical technology) /18-month training of FWV from any government FWVTI/1year paramedic training from Gonoshahtya/Community medical college, Mogbager, Dhaka
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Friendship is looking for Paramedics for its floating hospital. The core responsibilities include:
∎ Screen, counsel and provide health, nutrition and family planning services including treatment of water borne diseases with prescription to the customer from satellite clinics.
∎ Provide antenatal and postnatal care and family planning counseling,
∎ Manage (treat or refer) customer with method related side effects/complication;
∎ Identifying pregnant women, sick children and adult requiring special care and referral services
∎ Ensure quality and standard(s) with regard to rational drug use, infection prevention, clean and hygienic medical facilities and equipment
∎ Provide awareness counselling on Cervical cancer screening and treatment.
∎ Keep service records of all care provided and submit report to Health Supervisor.
∎ Prepare monthly work plan in coordination with other Paramedics with the support of Program Manager (Health).
∎ Maintain stock of medicines and contraceptives
∎ Maintain stock for all clinical equipment
Additional Requirements:
∎ Having 1 - 2-year work experience with NGOs in primary health care program delivery preferred. Training on IMCI, FP will be an added advantage. Female candidate and local resident will be preferred.
∎ Working experience with NGOs/GoB/Private hospital providing primary health care services, have IMCI and ORH training will be preferred.
∎ Experience working in the coastal area will be considered as additional advantage
