Certification: Must be certified as a Paramedic by a recognized certifying body such as the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Paramedic training program.
Experience: Previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic preferred.
Licensing: Must hold a valid state license to practice as a Paramedic.
CPR and ACLS Certification: Must be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Job Responsibilities
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing immediate and advanced medical care to patients in critical conditions.
Patient Assessment: Evaluate the condition of patients quickly and efficiently, determining the necessary medical interventions and prioritizing treatment based on the severity of the condition.
Medical Interventions: Perform advanced medical procedures such as administering medications, performing intubations, defibrillations, and other life-saving techniques.
Transport: Safely transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities, ensuring continuous medical care and monitoring throughout the journey.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, interventions provided, and patient responses for legal and medical reference.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all medical equipment is in proper working order, regularly checking and maintaining supplies and equipment.
Public Education: Participate in community education programs to promote safety, health, and emergency preparedness.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other emergency response personnel, including firefighters, police officers, and hospital staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
