Educational Requirements:
∎ University Graduation degree in Nutrition. Essential
∎ M.S.C in Nutrition or MPH degree will be preferred

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make sure that screening, detection and referral mechanism for acute malnutrition cases is established at community level and on-going with maximum coverage and quality
∎ Supervise and ensure quality of anthropometric measurement (height, weight, MUAC, oedema and W/H percentage) of under 5 children at nutrition center as well as at community level
∎ Follow up of identified malnourished cases referred to treatment from community screening/growth monitoring/survey
∎ Follow up and make sure that community is fully aware of the World Vision integrated programs.
∎ Follow and make sure that the awareness sessions are ongoing on the health, nutrition, WASH related issues and the beneficiaries and population are fully involved.
∎ Organize community group discussion, sessions or campaign and make sure that World Vision programs and activities are well known to the people
∎ Organize and conduct health and nutrition education sessions, awareness campaign at community level
∎ Organize cooking demonstration at block level and make sure importance of balance diet, complementary and supplementary feeding is explained to the beneficiaries and community people.
∎ Ensure home visiting and follow up of vulnerable beneficiaries such as absenteeism, defaulter, non-responder, refusal, relapse at HH level
∎ Establishment of support group composed of pregnant and lactating mothers and lead adolescent groups
∎ Organize training sessions for the peer groups.
∎ Follow up and supervise the activities of BFS group at community level.
∎ Follow up and supervise that the bilateral referral and follow up mechanism is in place between BFS group at community level and Breast Feeding Corner (BFC) at nutrition center level.
∎ Ensure precise record-keeping of growth monitoring and screening data
∎ Produce weekly/monthly growth monitoring, screening, home visiting and monitoring report
∎ Collect and analyze contextual information about the camp
∎ Prepare month statistical and narrative report on outreach activities.
∎ Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year experience in the field of management of Acute Malnutrition (BSFP/TSFP, OTP, CMAM, care practices) and community level behaviour change communication.
∎ 1 years experiences in community mobilization/health education/awareness raising activity/
∎ Experience in capacity building of local staff
∎ Good proficiency in local language and knowledge on local culture
∎ Organization skill are necessary
∎ Basic knowledge on computer operation and spoken English.
