Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Agriculture with 3/4 years practical experience or MS in Agriculture with 2/3 years of experience in the field agriculture projects.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Outreach Specialist - Market Facilitation will remain under the administrative and financial control, direct supervision, and guidance of the Technical Director, and technical, program implementation and reporting will be responsible to Agriculture Market System Lead (AMSL)/ Regional Market System Development Officer (RMSDO) and also be responsible for ensuring all operational activities (as per target) are being implemented in those Upazilas to achieve the outcomes of the project.
∎ Job Description / Responsibility
∎ Organizing and facilitating workshops at the Upazila/union level.
∎ Implement interventions with rural community people as targeted.
∎ Effective implementation of establishing Homestead Nutrition Garden and its associated activities.
∎ Closely work with District and Upazila based Government departments like - Department of Agricultural Extension, Department of Fisheries, Department of Livestock, etc.
∎ Organize and facilitate training for demo farmers.
∎ Facilitate and design activities for sustainability.
∎ Support any research activities in targeted market catchment areas.
∎ Support to conduct local area situation and audience analysis.
∎ Facilitate partnership between the private sector/company and the project.
∎ Organize and conduct Agriculture training, meeting, and workshops at District, Upazila, Unions and community level.
∎ Knowledge sharing on agricultural modern practices including integrated farming systems.
∎ Arrange exchange/learning visits, field day on updated technology for skill development of community
∎ Collect monitoring data as per the requirement of MEL Plan and management purposes, and compile the collected data.
∎ Ensure inputs, materials; technical information & advice to beneficiaries for establish demonstration including homestead nutrition garden.
∎ Participate in Agricultural, Fruits and Tree fair's at union and upazila level for technology dissemination.
∎ Organize linkage meeting among the farmers, producer group, input & output actor including others stakeholder to ensure better market access
∎ Linkage & networking with upazila line departments (Such as DAE, ULO, DoF, DWA) and private sector
∎ Prepare all kind of quantity & qualitative reports
∎ Any other task assignment by FIVDB as & when requirement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong understanding and practical experience of agriculture market systems.
∎ Experience of working with USAID-funded projects in is preferable.
∎ Knowledgeable & skills in Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture & Nutrition Governance with market-based approach.
∎ Strong understanding of homestead gardening, Government Collaboration, and private sector engagement.
∎ Must have technical program, monitoring, and evaluation knowledge in multi-sector approaches.
∎ Experience in data/information collection to track the project's progress.
∎ Ability to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license.
∎ Computer skills - Well conversant with MS Word, Excel, Power-point, data management software's and Internet operation.
∎ VDO conferencing: Experience in online meeting/VDO conferencing by using Zoom, and Google meet software.
∎ Have verbal & written communication skills in English and Bangla
Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
