Education: Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: - Networking with DIC and CBOs along with regular communication with community members for community mobilization.
- Provide one-to-one support to community members on sexual, reproductive and mental health.
- Maintain and strengthen the client flow for mental health support at mental health corners.
- Provide required assistance for resuming and continuing mental health corner in hospitals.
- Play active role in internal and external referral mechanism for any relevant support (medical/legal/psychological etc.) including assessment of whether clients may have other problems, which need specialist attention.
- Organize and facilitate monthly group awareness sessions with community members on SRHR/HIV-prevention/mental health
- Facilitate and develop the outreach/field program efficacy and take initiative for continuous assessment of different locations and target population.
- Organize and support all field activities including but not limited to campaigns, trainings, mobile-clinic etc. relevant to the project including encouraging community members and his/her sexual contacts (including spouse if there is one) to ensure required participation.
- Prepare monthly work plan and implement the activities as per approved work plan.10.
- Liaise with other HIV/AIDS prevention organizations at local level and update the activities following instruction from head office and participate in workshops, seminars and other activities, which are related to project activities.
- Provide counseling assistance in regard to personal risk assessments, safer sex behaviors, partner notification and any related issues for those attending the SRHR clinic/camp.
- Provide counseling to MSM, FSW, their partners and family who are living with STI, HIV and AIDS.
- Maintain all necessary documents and client log system for those clients who may need follow-up treatment.
- Prepare the progress reports both monthly and ensure timely submission. Assist in compiling the fields monthly report and progress report.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for performing any special duty given by the higher authority as and when necessary for the interest of the organization.
