Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ PGD in Customs and VAT Management or Any Special Training on VAT & SD Act /VAT Management will be considered as Additional Advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Accounting, Accounting and VAT, Accounting Software, customs and Vat, VAT
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounting, Accounting and VAT, customs and Vat
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle NBR and other regulatory bodies in connection to Customs & VAT related matters.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records in respect of VAT related issues;
∎ Liaising and maintaining all Customs & VAT related correspondences with respective regulatory authorities.
∎ Managing the Companies' VAT compliance process as per recent VAT Act.
∎ Handle VAT Audit conducted by NBR, and other Govt. Agencies,
∎ Ensure proper maintenance of all kinds of VAT Registers including Legal litigation,
∎ Corresponding with Custom Excise & VAT office independently,
∎ Maintain close liaison with Custom Authority, NBR, Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal,
∎ Prepared and submit monthly VAT return (MUSHOK-9.1).
∎ Having practical knowledge about the new VAT & SD Act 2012 and Vat SD rules 2016;
∎ Dealing with VAT cases.
∎ Preparation and submission of SD/VAT challans.
∎ Maintain VAT register book.
∎ Checking VAT challan provided by the vendor.
∎ Preparation of VDS certificate (MUSHOK-6.6).
∎ Dealing with supplier for VAT issues
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 33 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English & Bengali
∎ Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
∎ Knowledge of principles of Customs, VAT, taxation and revenue
∎ Competent in Microsoft Office software with intermediate MS Excel
∎ Should be highly proactive, self-motivated, committed and energetic.
∎ Must have good interpersonal, communication & analytical skills.
∎ Must have high level of honesty & integrity.
∎ Must be very hard working.
∎ Should have the capacity to work with different Accounting/ ERP based software.
