• Age 32 to 38 years

• Minimum 3 – 7 years of experience in Trade Finance/ Bank Guarantee operations within a commercial bank.

• CSDG/CDCS/CETS, etc, professional degrees will be highly valued.

• Familiarity with SWIFT messages and core banking systems.

• Strong knowledge in Bank Guarantee-related Bangladesh Bank circulars and other domestic regulations.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.  

• Process issuance, amendment, cancellation, and claim settlement of bank guarantees & SBLC in both local and foreign currencies.  

• Ensure all transactions comply with the bank’s internal procedures, regulatory guidelines, and ICC rules (URDG 758, UCP 600 where applicable).  

• Monitor expiry dates, renewals, and documentation follow-ups for both inward and outward BGs.  

• Verify client instructions, supporting documents, and credit limits prior to processing any BG transaction.  

• Maintain proper records, ensure accurate accounting entries, and support daily reconciliation activities.  

• Handle SWIFT message preparation/verification related to guarantees/SBLC.  

• Liaise with relationship managers, clients, and correspondents to resolve operational issues promptly.  

• Support internal and external audit reviews and ensure timely rectification of audit observations.  

• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and risk mitigation initiatives within the Trade Finance operations team.
