Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using one or more programming languages such as C programming, Asp.net, C#, etc.
∎ Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability. Identify and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions and implementing preventive measures. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
∎ Document code, procedures, and processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain organizational knowledge. Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) to manage source code and collaborate effectively with other team members. Implement and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
∎ Work within Agile or Scrum methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives. Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software development, and apply them to improve existing systems and processes. Coordinate with project managers to prioritize tasks, estimate timelines, and ensure timely delivery of software projects.
∎ Implement security best practices to protect software applications from vulnerabilities and threats, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior developers to foster their professional growth and development. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their queries and issues related to software applications.
