∎ Graduate in any related subject from any recognized university / SSC for Retd. Armed Forces, Police in the rank of Sergeant & above. Security related training/ Certification will be preferred.

∎ Updated knowledge about security and political situation affecting BRAC
∎ Basic knowledge about BRAC security policy procedures
∎ Handle security issues independently
∎ Maintain effective liaison with law enforcement agencies
∎ Skill to act as a security trainer
∎ Competent to take decision in a critical situation
∎ Capable to supervise security guards professionally
∎ Capable to contribute for building a culture of security and safety in BRAC units
∎ Minimum 3 years past experience as security Officer/Supervisor in an organization. (5 years past experience in security related position for Internal Candidate)

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure security of BRAC staff and assets
∎ Ensure security of events organized by BRAC
∎ Supervise the duties of security guards
∎ Take critical security related decision independently
∎ Security survey and security investigations
∎ Supervision of security equipment operation
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourages others to do so.
