Context and Scope
Katnarpara Nari Unnayan Sangstha (KNUS) is a national-level, women-led, non-government humanitarian development organization. KNUS implements multi-sectoral development programs focusing on women’s empowerment, safe migration and reintegration, livelihoods, education, health, protection, and humanitarian response across urban and rural areas of Bangladesh. The Officer – Program will support the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of programs. The position will work closely with the Program Manager and other team members to ensure quality implementation of activities in line with project objectives, organizational policies, and donor requirements. This role is primarily operational, with opportunities to contribute to learning, documentation, and capacity development within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of program activities as per approved work plans and donor requirements.
Assist in coordinating with field teams, supervisor, and stakeholders for smooth program execution.
Support implementation of field-level campaigns and community mobilization activities.
Maintain proper documentation of program activities, outputs, and results.
Assist in preparing activity reports, progress reports, and other program-related documents.
Support data collection, compilation, and reporting for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL).
Participate in meetings, trainings, workshops, and field visits as required.
Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standards, and donor requirements.
Perform any other program-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
