Responsibilities & Context: 1. Support in Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Assist the Senior Executive in conducting regular quality rounds and audits across all patient care areas.
- Participate in monitoring compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and accreditation standards.
- Help identify areas of improvement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
2. Incident Reporting & Analysis
- Facilitate timely collection and documentation of clinical and non-clinical incident reports.
- Maintain the incident reporting database and assist in preliminary reviews and trend analysis.
- Support the Senior Executive in preparing monthly incident summary reports for the Quality Committee.
3. Committee Coordination
- Assist in organizing meetings of various clinical and quality-related committees (e.g., Infection Control, Patient Safety, Morbidity & Mortality Review).
- Prepare and circulate meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action plans.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance of all committee activities.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with medical officers, nursing, and allied health departments for quality-related communications and initiatives.
- Support interdepartmental coordination for clinical audits, performance assessments, and service improvement projects.
- Serve as a liaison between CQS and other hospital departments to ensure effective information flow.
5. Infection Control Support
- Assist the Senior Executive and Infection Control Team in implementing infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
- Participate in infection control rounds, surveillance activities, and compliance monitoring in clinical areas.
- Support the collection and analysis of infection data, and help organize awareness or training programs on IPC practices.
- Ensure infection control documentation, reports, and audits are maintained accurately and submitted timely.
6. Clinical Waste Management Assistance
- Support the monitoring and coordination of hospital clinical waste management processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant waste segregation, handling, and disposal policies.
- Participate in regular checks on waste management practices and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Help organize staff orientation and refresher training on proper clinical waste management procedures.
7. Training & Capacity Building
- Assist in developing and implementing the annual training plan for clinical quality improvement.
- Support in organizing training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs on patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- Maintain training attendance records and assist in preparing evaluation summaries.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated documentation related to hospital accreditation, quality indicators, and audit findings.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly quality reports for management review.
- Ensure proper filing and digital record maintenance of CQS documents.
9. Continuous Improvement Support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Gather feedback from departments and support the Senior Executive in formulating improvement strategies.
- Participate in surveys, benchmarking, and data collection for quality performance indicators.
