Responsibilities & Context:
Clean and sanitise patient rooms, wards, cabins, nursing stations, corridors, waiting areas, and offices according to hospital standards.
Dust, mop, sweep, and disinfect floors, furniture, and surfaces regularly.
Ensure washrooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained throughout the day.
Replace linens, towels, and other housekeeping supplies when required.
Follow hospital infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely according to hospital protocols.
Properly dispose of general waste following hospital waste management procedures.
