Education:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• Minimum requirement is MBBS degree from reputed medical college. Having MBBS from public medical college is preferable.

• Age At least 35 years

• Doctor/ General Medical Practitioner empanelment

• The project defines Physician empanelment as the active and ongoing assignment for the provision and delivery of Essential Service Package (ESP) services to its catchment population. The empanelment is to establish a point of care for the beneficiaries and accountable for actively managing ESP.

• Physician for empanelment based on following criteria:

• Candidate with CCD, PGT and other relevant professional training will be given preference.

• A practicing doctor is preferred.

• Can give at least 6 hours to the respective clinic (either 08:30 to 14:30 or 15:00 to 21:00).

• Willingness to provide service at a difficult environment.

• Can provide consultation service to 30 to 50 patients in 6 hours (360 minutes). Two doctors (One male and one female).

• [One male doctors will be placed in Ershadnagar Aalo Clinic and One Female Doctor will work in two clinics on roster duty at Mirpur and Ershadnagar Aalo Clinics]

• Willing to provide service as Payment for Performance (P4P) basis.

• Willing to participate with agreed quality control measures to meet minimum standards of the clinic management.

• Willing to accept reimbursement of the payment for the services in a monthly basis through bank transfer only.

A group of experts by UNICEF have developed a detailed implementation design and operational plan of the urban clinic model for Primary Health Care to serve the urban population.

Based on the developed model, UNICEF assigned Partners in Health and Development (PHD) as the lead of the consortium along with two partners, CMED Health Limited and Nari Maitree (NM) to work under a very specific ToR to support the GoB in the development of a competitive and sustainable system to be managed by empaneled GP basing on Performance-based Payment (P4P-50,000/- to 73,000/- as per performance) system whereby promotive, preventive and curative health services are rewarded and the clinics have a level of autonomy to ensure use of resources while providing quality Primary Health Care. The clinics will be part of the health system providing Essential Service Package (ESP) of health services including vaccines, FP commodities, micronutrients sourced from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Selective medicine is temporarily sourced from UNICEF till it is arranged from MoHFW.
