Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct research to determine necessary information to conduct IT audits and investigations and make value-added recommendations.
∎ Communicate and prepare report on IT audit findings and recommendation to improve the effectiveness of internal controls, reliability of systems and information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
∎ Perform follow-up procedures on management commitments to mitigate IT risks to verify that the risk has been timely mitigated.
∎ Support other members of the IT internal audit team relative to technical IT matters or the execution of data queries that facilitate their audits.
∎ Review the existing business continuity, disaster recovery, backup and restoration procedure.
∎ Review of networking, hardware, software and data centres, as well as emerging technologies, such as biometrics and mobile devices.
∎ Work with members of the audit department in the identification and evaluation of risks in support of annual audit plan development and audit-level planning.
∎ Responsible for assisting the IT internal audit team with the development and implementation of the internal audit process.
∎ Develop detailed IT audit plans and methods to accomplish audit objectives, including data collection techniques and research methods; determines data analysis, testing and evaluation methods.
∎ Perform data analysis using CAAT software e.g Import all records and exported data, protect the integrity of data, access common audit functions and record every step of analysis.
∎ Conducts all aspects of the IT audit engagement i.e. general IT controls and application controls in order to review confidentiality, integrity and availability of application data.
∎ Understanding of IT environment, scope development, gathering and analysing evidence, data assessment, and report writing.
∎ Accurately assess the information risk and effectiveness of internal control over key activity.
∎ Assess system/network availability, security and data integrity to identify, manage and reduce risks and ensure general compliance.
∎ Perform gap analysis as per standard IT frameworks.
∎ Review the management control on IT strategy, IT policy, third party framework, Segregation of Duties, fallback planning, incident and problem management, IT performance measurement.
∎ Conduct business development for long-term value of KPMG Bangladesh from customers, markets and relationships.
∎ Prepare proposal/RFP/RFQ/EOI/EL for various clients.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Any security certification is preferable.
