Responsibilities & Context:
Accounting Responsibilities:
Maintain daily financial records, including vouchers, invoices, receipts, and ledgers.
Prepare and post journal entries, payment and receipt vouchers in the accounting system.
Manage petty cash and reconcile daily cash transactions.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing with proper documentation.
Assist in the preparation of cost sheets, especially related to agricultural inputs and outputs.
Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial audits and compliance checks.
Maintain organized filing of financial records for traceability and internal use.
Inventory Management Responsibilities:
Monitor and record movement of raw materials (e.g., seeds, fertilizers, feed), packing materials, and finished agro products.
Update stock registers regularly and ensure timely data entry into the ERP/inventory management system.
Perform periodic physical stock counts and reconcile with system data.
Track stock usage trends to identify wastage, spoilage, or pilferage.
Maintain accurate records of stock transfers between production units, storage facilities, and distribution points.
Coordinate with production and store teams to ensure proper stock handling, FIFO/LIFO practices, and safe storage conditions.
