Job Context:
∎ To complement its team the WASH Technical Resource Unit in Cox`s Bazar (TRU) (under the umbrella of the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh), invites qualified Bangladeshi candidates to submit applications.
∎ He/she will support the Head of WASH TRU and be responsible for the overall administration and financial management of the office according to the Swiss rules and regulations. The job involves HR, accounting and procurement tasks as well as information gathering, documentation and writing minutes. All the tasks require close coordination with the main office in Dhaka and independent and proactive thinking. The position is temporary for 1 year.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administration and HR: prepare correspondence and contracts, setup and maintain database. Organize workshops and meetings and take the minutes. Liaise and coordinate with Government Organizations and Donor Agencies. Collect information from various sources and ensure filing and documentation, Support and maintain schedules of Consultants and supervise the TRU support staff and drivers.
∎ Finance and Accounting: Cash management and prepare periodic cash statements. Register all transactions and prepare for booking. Analyze prizes and quotation and financial events, Coordinate and perform all financial tasks in close coordination and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Embassy of Switzerland in Dhaka as per timeline. Process and register cash and bank payments for bookkeeping.
∎ Logistic and Procurement: Supervise the office vehicle management and drivers duty activities. Arrange logistics for Trainings/Workshops. Request quotations, analyze offers and prepare the order. Procure office materials or services. Maintain fixed assets and stock register.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Interested candidates must have a B.A. in Administration/Finance from a reputed Bangladeshi or foreign academic institution. Be fluent in Bangla and English and have excellent writing and editing skills in English. Have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position and proven experience in Cash management and financial tasks. Experience in procurement procedures will be considered as an additional plus point. Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of applicable software applications in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
