Job Context:
∎ Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-profitable Bangladeshi organization providing lifesaving nutrition support to the FDMN (Rohingya Community) of Cox`s Bazar under its integrated nutrition programme. As a part of Nutrition interventions in support with WFP, UNICEF & UNHCR, SARPV is working for the prevention of malnutrition among under 5 children, adolescent, pregnant & lactating women in the Rohingya Camps.
∎ Employment Status: Full-time, Contractual (Until 31st October, renewable).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program technical oversight:
∎ Oversee and be responsible for the technical performance of integrated nutrition facilities (OTP/TSFP/BSFP) sites within designated catchment areas in Kutupalong camp.
∎ Provide technical oversight for the implementation of CMAM activities, including OTP/TSFP/BSFP, IYCF, and C-MAMI.
∎ Ensure BCC components and IEC materials of the program is in place. Develop and deliver new IEC materials if needed.
∎ Oversee the implementation of supportive supervision at nutrition sites. Recognize trends in supportive supervision feedback/results and strategize appropriate support.
∎ Support the Programme Manager to ensure national and international standards are consistently met.
∎ Anticipate areas where increased support may be required and proactively intervene to improve quality indicators.
∎ Compile accurate, timely internal reports and analyses as required.
∎ Assist in the preparation of quantitative, qualitative, and narrative external reports as required by donors and regulators.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promote a strong team spirit, and provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Providing technical support and guidance to the Nutrition Managers & Officers
∎ Lead the research programs of SARPV.
∎ Staff management:
∎ Ensure nutrition staff receives appropriate and effective training as needed to fulfill their duties within the CMAM structure. Develop and deliver new training modules if needed.
∎ Conduct and attend internal and external training sessions and workshops as required.
∎ Develop internal organizational tools/guidelines/standards to improve program quality.
∎ Foster technical capacity building of office and field staff.
∎ Oversee the completion of performance evaluations of staff members, as directed.
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Construct and support in developing nutrition program budgets.
∎ Ensure expenditures are in line with approved budgets.
∎ Quality Management:
∎ Ensure the program is implemented in line with donor proposals and standard protocol.
∎ Regularly assess and provide feedback and recommendations to the Senior Management staff, as well as field staff.
∎ Representation:
∎ Attend nutrition coordination meetings at the field, nutrition sector, and donor levels.
∎ Liaise with Government representatives, donor representatives, and other partners providing nutrition and health activities in the project areas.
∎ Facilitate cross-country learning, synthesis, documentation, and sharing of experience
∎ Actively engage in nutrition networks, participate in recruitment for technical nutrition positions, support on request, the exploration, and preparation of nutrition funding requests.
∎ Provide input into SARPV and nutrition sector promotional, media, and communications materials on nutrition.
∎ Proposal and budget preparation:
∎ Leading the development of nutrition and nutrition-sensitive proposals, concept notes, and budgets.
∎ Support proposal development for the nutrition program of SARPV.
∎ Ensuring budgets and financial resource planning is in place for all activities within the project.
∎ Ensuring that the project delivers high-quality reports with an agreed timeline and format to demonstrate the project result.
∎ Monitoring, evaluation, and advocacy:
∎ Participating actively in team planning and meetings, working to set common objectives and goals, and striving to ensure these are successfully achieved.
∎ Ensuring participation in relevant committees within project areas that could contribute to bringing effective results at the project level.
∎ Developing the project M&E system and reviewing progress in a systematic way for visualizing the project progress and taking action.
∎ Ensuring the best practices are captured, documented, and disseminated at the project level.
∎ Ensuring implementation of an appropriate advocacy strategy for the project in consultation with project stakeholders.
∎ Deputizing for the Program Manager in his/her absence from the project area.
∎ Others:
∎ Implement other activities, related to the objectives of the technical support unit, as assigned by the Line manager.
∎ Support large or complex assessment/evaluation activities as required.
∎ Support implementation of rapid needs assessments in the event of emergencies.
∎ Any other assignments were given by the Line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience in with a national or international NGO.
∎ Knowledge of the operational and compliance requirements of Rohingya Response or Emergency Projects will be considered added advantage.
∎ Experience in financial risk management.
∎ Experience of management supporting /monitoring /capacity building NGOs.
∎ Proven experience of developing and facilitating training workshops for finance and non-finance managers.
∎ Effective organization and analytical skills.
∎ Strong coordination, negotiation and communication skills.
∎ Proven record of meeting demanding deadlines.
∎ Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel as well accounting packages & other database competencies.
∎ Excellent written and spoken English.

Salary: Tk. 165000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 2 days weekly holiday.
∎ Local transport, mobile call charge and others allowance will be applicable as per organization's policy.
