Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Graduate (B.S.C in Agriculture / Forestry/ Horticulture will be given preference) with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure budget planning, physical check of the inventory for the accurate physical balance and minimum damage / loss of the Nursery
∎ Achieve monthly sales target as per planned / budgeted yearly sales projection of nursery
∎ Execute technical management of nursery, organize variety wise production of quality saplings as production plan approved by H.O and ensure optimum utilization of land
∎ Examine plants for diseases, insects, wildlife damage, and weeds to protect the health of the plants
∎ Pursuit relationship with external stakeholders to procure sales, organize fair & other promotional activities to achieve sales targets
∎ Supervise the staff and labor, look after their productivity, welfare and administrative issues
∎ Take measures to control the production cost of the nursery and ensure optimum utilization of overhead cost
∎ Prepare report timely as and when necessary
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 35 years
∎ Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
∎ Experienced in horticulture nursery management, production, sales will be given preference
∎ Knowledge on nursery product production process, sales, basic horticulture, care of plant material, agronomy practices, disease & pest control management, action plan and distribution plan
∎ Knowledge about wholesaling, retailing of plants and inventory management
∎ Excellent in report writing, budgeting, people management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
