Job Responsibilities:
∎ Taking initiative to establish short and long term sales goals of the company and, in collaboration with other departments, sets sales, profit, growth, market share and other goals.
∎ Preparing National Sales Budget and distribution nationally among the Zonal Sales Managers, Area Managers and Medical Information Officers in a way so that everyone takes this as a challenge and offers all-out efforts to achieve it.
∎ Taking active part in selecting new products to increase the company's sales volume as well as profit and image.
∎ Selecting most appropriate promotional materials for effective promotion of products in collaboration with the marketing department.
∎ Making arrangements for development of detailed sales program design to improve competitive positions, reduce selling and other distribution expenses and reach established sales goals.
∎ Reviewing and approving sales policies, strategies and pricing policies (as long as they have the direct or indirect impact on sales goal) of all products to ensure that short-term operation is in accord with long term profitability and do not jeopardize other phases of the company’s operations.
∎ Establishing an effective plan of organization and method of controlling the activities of members of the sales organization.
∎ Providing leadership both to immediate subordinates and all levels of the sales organization in establishing a sound basis for each individual’s self-development and, in making certain that rewards are in line with responsibilities and performance.
∎ Providing and organizing the necessary training for the new personnel so as to achieve a high level of performance in the shortest possible time. At the same time arranging training for the existing sales personnel to improve performance levels and to prepare them for possible promotion. Also ensuring the high level of motivation within the team to achieve optimum sales performance.
