Responsibilities & Context:

·  Achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the Company in accordance with established policies and business objectives.

·  Lead and manage the sales team to achieve profitable sales results through effective motivation, counseling, coaching, skill development, and product knowledge enhancement.

·  Manage the sales administration function, including operational performance reporting, sales monitoring, process improvement, and system optimization. Provide recommendations to senior management for maximizing business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.

·  Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans covering sales targets, revenue generation, expense control, territory development, and market expansion to ensure the Company's presence across all assigned regions.

·  Assist in the preparation of the annual marketing plan by providing realistic sales forecasts for each product and territory based on historical sales data, market trends, competitor activities, promotional strategies, and sales-force effectiveness.

·  Prepare and monitor realistic operating-cost estimates for the sales force and provide input for sales promotion programs and related activities.

·  Ensure that all field-force activities are conducted in strict compliance with the applicable Bangladesh Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices / Medicine Promotion Code of Conduct and Company policies.

·  Provide effective leadership, direction, and supervision to Zonal Sales Managers, Area Managers, and Medical Information Officers/MPOs to achieve assigned objectives and ensure accountability for their respective responsibilities.

·  Establish and maintain an effective reporting and communication system covering daily, weekly, monthly, and cyclical sales reports, field activities, market feedback, and sales meetings.

·  Monitor the performance of the sales team through defined KPIs, regular performance reviews, field visits, sales meetings, and periodic appraisals.

·  Develop and implement an effective performance appraisal system that clearly defines the responsibilities, performance standards, KPIs, and sales objectives of each member of the sales team.

·  Set individual territory-wise sales targets and action plans and monitor progress against the approved targets.

·  Regularly observe and evaluate the field performance of Medical Information Officers/MPOs to ensure effective execution of promotional and customer-engagement activities.

·  Provide high-standard on-the-job training to Medical Information Officers/MPOs to ensure they possess adequate medical, scientific, product, and technical knowledge to present information about the Company's products accurately, ethically, and in a balanced manner.

·  Manage, develop, and retain sales and sales-support personnel through effective manpower planning, coaching, training, performance management, and career development.

·  Prepare accurate annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and revenue forecasts for each product, territory, and depot, and regularly review actual performance against forecast.

·  Coordinate and allocate appropriate Company resources to ensure efficient, sustainable, and stable sales performance across all territories.

·  Identify and develop new opportunities for doctor visits and professional engagement for MPOs, Area Managers, and Zonal Sales Managers to expand product coverage and strengthen business relationships.

·  Analyze market potential, prescription trends, competitor activities, territory performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

·  Conduct regular sales review meetings with the sales team and ensure timely implementation of decisions, corrective actions, and strategic initiatives.

·  Ensure effective coordination among Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other relevant departments to support uninterrupted sales operations and achievement of business objectives.

·  Submit regular performance reports, market intelligence, sales forecasts, and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.

·  Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time in the interest of the Company.
