Responsibilities & Context:
∎ *Oversee the installation of machinery and equipment for pharmaceutical production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ *Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for new or modified mechanical systems.
∎ *Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
∎ *Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed machinery and modifications.
∎ *Perform equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issues impacting production efficiency.
∎ *Implement preventive maintenance programs and contribute to the development of maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
∎ *Coordinate with validation team to validate and document equipment modifications, repairs, and upgrades to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ *Troubleshooting and problem solving of process and utility machinery.
∎ *Prepare comparative statement, documentation, lead and manage installation and qualification of equipment and machinery.
∎ *Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians on mechanical systems and equipment.
