About the Role   

We are hiring a highly skilled and versatile Video Editor to work across multiple content formats for foreign (primarily Western) clients, including:

• Interview clips and podcast cutdowns

• YouTube longform edits (10–15 minutes)

• Lyric videos

• Underground rap / VFX-heavy music edits

• Sports highlight edits

• Movie/TV character TikTok edits

This is not a beginner role. We are looking for editors who deeply understand Western social media culture and can create content that feels native to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.

You should be able to:

• Pull viral 30–90 second clips from 1–3 hour interviews

• Craft high-retention 10–15 minute YouTube videos

• Create visually immersive lyric videos

• Build trippy, glitch-heavy underground rap edits

• Cut beat-synced sports highlights

• Produce cinematic character edits with emotional impact

Strong English proficiency is non-negotiable. Subtitles, lyric timing, slang, humor, and cultural references must be handled with precision.

What You’ll Do

Interview & Podcast Content

• Review 1–3 hours of raw footage

• Identify viral-worthy moments

• Cut high-retention short-form clips (30–90 seconds)

• Craft cohesive 10–15 minute YouTube cutdowns

• Add accurate English subtitles

• Apply subject tracking and framing adjustments

• Optimize for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Lyric Videos

• Design typography and motion graphics that match the song’s mood

• Synchronize visuals perfectly to music

• Source or create footage when needed

• Ensure zero errors in English spelling and timing

Music Video / VFX Edits

• Create trippy, glitch-heavy, gritty visuals

• Apply distortion, psychedelic color grading, particles, and aggressive transitions

• Build atmosphere through VFX and compositing

• Work across both short-form and full music video projects

Sports Edits

• Create fast-paced, beat-synced highlight edits

• Edit NBA, NFL, UFC, soccer, and other Western sports content

• Use speed ramps, zooms, transitions, and VFX effectively

• Produce scroll-stopping short-form content

Movie / Character Edits

• Re-edit iconic movie and TV scenes into emotional short-form pieces

• Use masking transitions, compositing, lyric overlays

• Convey cinematic emotion and storytelling through pacing and grading

• Add accurate dialogue subtitles and lyric text

Requirements

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut

• After Effects experience strongly preferred

• Strong English proficiency (subtitles must be flawless)

• Deep understanding of Western social media culture

• Strong sense of pacing, retention, and audience psychology

• Ability to sync visuals precisely to music

• Experience with masking, compositing, and VFX

• Understanding of:

• YouTube retention strategy

• TikTok short-form trends

• Western sports culture

• Underground rap aesthetic

• Film/TV character edit niche
