Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The M&E Specialist position will be recruited as per regular position under NJP II. S/he will ensure overall project M&E activities for NJP as upazila level such as Annual Survey (Learning Utilization and Assessment, Capacity assessment), Support to conduct PaBS, internal DQA, RQPM, different types of survey and assessments, GIS Study, Annual reporting in IPTT, work on AAMP, DIS (USAID Local mission MIS) Support to prepare project closing report. Over all-purpose of this position is to monitor quality implementation of key interventions, outputs and outcomes of the project. This position is responsible to assist to establish community based monitoring using Utilization Based Approach. In this regard, capacity building of project staff including community volunteers on quality data collection and reporting is one of the key responsibilities. It is expected that s/he will assist in conduction of different survey and evaluation and directly conduct any kind of periodic and small studies to measure the actual situation of the community in the assigned Upazila. S/he is also responsible to develop monitoring tools, generating data, analysis of consolidated data and making recommendations to the appropriate management. Responsible for proper implementation of project M&E plan and document the best practices and learning. Produce schedule reports and submit to the project management.
∎ Note: This position is Short-term Contractual for 6 Months till September 2024.
∎ Develop/ ensure proper utilization of monitoring tools for implementation of project interventions with quality
∎ Gather data and verify the validity & consistency of data to make those biases free.
∎ Analyze data using appropriate software to help in decision making for the project management
∎ Store data using standard database for further reference
∎ Annual data collect, analysis, sorting, filtering and prepare database report as per USAID Reporting procedure.
∎ Work on data analysis using SPSS, STATTA, Google form and must working experience using KoBotoolbox
∎ Support to prepare all types of report such as annual, project closer, local mission MIS data entry (AAMP, DIS).
∎ Conduct capacity-building events for project staff, partners and community volunteers on data collection process, monitoring tools, methodology and standard reporting format.
∎ Facilitate baseline, mid-term and project end evaluation at the respective project site to see the status against project objectives
∎ Responsible for implementing M&E work in respective two upazilas.
