Uttaran is a people-centered organization using a rights-based approach to alleviate poverty, diversify livelihood opportunities and empower poor communities of Bangladesh.
∎ Uttaran in Partnership with World Vision Bangladesh is implementing Youth Empowered Project."Preventing Child, Early and Forced Marriage through Integrated SRHR Transformation" project. It is a 3-years project that will use a multi-pronged approach to empower girls and young women to exert greater control over Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) decision-making and the factors that drive CEFM with the support of their families and communities. The project will build the capacity of community and health ecosystems to provide gender-responsive and adolescent-friendly SRHR and CEFM information and services. Through evidence-informed and complementary pathways, the project seeks to contribute to the ultimate outcome of "Enhanced realization of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Girls and Young Women (10-24 years) in Bagherhat and Sathkira districts of Bangladesh."
∎ Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for Youth Empowered; preventing child, early & forced marriages in Bangladesh (Youth Empowered) project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The M&E Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project output of Youth Empowered Project in Satkhira/Bagerhat District
∎ Develop and maintain program monitoring and reporting system.
∎ Monitoring officer will be responsible for data collection, storage and reporting and according to need base will be responsible for providing to donor.
∎ Ensure field staff are properly trained and prepared for all relevant aspects of program monitoring;
∎ Ensure the consistency of M&E quantitative and qualitative data (baseline and end line)
∎ Supervise implementation of M&E process (baseline, end line, PDM, Post-Harvest Monitoring and as delegated by the Project Coordinator.
∎ Establish functional MIS system and follow data management protocols
∎ Prepare Monthly Update M&E report as required by Uttaran and Donor
∎ Liaise with Project coordinator to ensure that program indicators, monitoring formats, databases, data analysis, and reporting are maintained and harmonized;
∎ Provide feedback to the Project Management on project strategies and activities
∎ Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or reduce such bottlenecks
∎ Support M&E team to facilitate different sessions and programs where needed.
∎ Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Project Coordinator Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Coordinator in preparing relevant reports
∎ Assist the project personnel preparing M&E tools and in supporting them in their use
∎ Conduct need based small study for learning and share result for improvement
∎ Prepare monthly analysis based on progress and share achievement and gaps as well in the mgt meeting to promote effective planning.
∎ Develop M & E capacity for team members to identify gaps in M & E related issues;
∎ Mobilize team on data analysis and reporting from routine activity & output monitoring, annual surveys, support the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports and providing updated data for updating project's Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT).
∎ Maintain effective coordination with project team as well as M&E technical lead.
∎ Any other additional activities as per organizational (WVC/WVB/Uttaran) needs. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced needed: At least 2 years working experience on M&E field with reputed organizations
∎ Priority : Women Candidates will be highly Prioritized

Salary: Tk. 36975 (Monthly)
