Job Context:
∎ The purpose of this position is to facilitate DME process, monitor quality of outcomes, outputs and activities of the project. The position assist in establishing community based monitoring system, build capacities of community, project and partner, facilitate baseline survey and evaluation, and facilitate research/small study and analysis of programs/projects data in order to ensure compliance with Partnership Standard, Policies and guidelines. The position is to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators and build capacity of local communities, facilitators and staff on the data management, data analysis and results oriented programming, monitoring and evaluation report writing techniques and requirements for relevant donors to ensure compliance - collecting program data and accurately completing data reports to measure progress.
∎ Besides this, the position will provide guidance and support with tools to assess & monitor quality of outcomes, outputs and activities of the project. The position is also support in developing community based monitoring tools and system, build capacity of community partners on DME functions. It will contribute in baseline survey and evaluation; facilitate lessons learned, Annual Review & Planning and conduct studies to support project learning. The position will analyze and share information & reports to relevant stakeholders for effective and efficient program implementation and decision making. It would ensure compliance with Partnership Standard, Policies and Child Wellbeing Outcomes. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure data quality, validate data, conduct data audits, quality assurance and reporting. However, this position also aims to assist M&E Manager to make an effective M&E plan and in delivery of efficient M&E activities to meet up donor compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To facilitate roll out of project M&E system, framework, processes and products and ensure alignment and compliance with WV Partnership standards (DME, Program effectiveness) effectively and efficiently for strengthening M&E System and function.
∎ To work on establishing effective M&E system including community led monitoring for the project.
∎ To support in implementing monitoring and evaluation of the project through ensuring effective use of data in decision-making initiatives from the lessons learned;
∎ To conduct regular analysis of monitoring data and inform management and relevant stakeholders for taking effective decision making.
∎ To support in capturing best practices for project/organizational Knowledge Management.
∎ To conduct small study/research and bring innovation in program design and monitoring
∎ To support in establishing accountability especially feedback and complain mechanism at projects and partners.
∎ To conduct data auditing for ensuring quality of data to produce quality of DME products.
∎ To work closely with other team members of project and partner to perform M&E related activities.
∎ Data collection, triangulation and ensure data consistency
∎ Ensure monitoring reports in timely manner;
∎ Documentation of project reports on monitoring, evaluation, researchers’/study and better practices;
∎ Establish project based Monitoring System and follow up
∎ Build DME Capacities of project/partner and orient / train project staff on data collection process, monitoring tools, methodology and standard reporting format.
∎ Ensure quality of project activities by introducing & adopting appropriate monitoring & supervision system & tools;
∎ Provide feedback to project staff.
∎ Result sharing and reporting.
∎ Adopt monitoring tools and flow of information management system to ensure monitoring and support project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have knowledge and skills on developing and functional project M&E system at project level.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license
∎ Ability to work with partners and in different target groups
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Knowledge on Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process, tools and MIS data management system.
∎ Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar for staff, communities and partners.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office- Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Power Point other database program.
∎ Proven skill in quantitative and narrative report writing.
∎ Knowledge on basic nutrition and value chain.
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 60000 (Monthly)
