∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children and adolescents. SKUS works to provide access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, offer quality teaching/learning and increase refugee/host community participation and engagement in children`s education. Based on children`s and adolescents` rights, SKUS has established quality learning and protection centres with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with UNICEF for the project of Education for Rohingya Children at Rohingya Camp in Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Monitoring and Reporting Officer for the project as mentioned above, supported by UNICEF.

∎ Purpose of the job
∎
∎ Monitoring and reporting officer works under the guidance of the Administrator. The Monitoring and Reporting Officer provides support in the monitoring and reporting of ongoing projects. He/she collects and analyse all data against the project indicators and suggest corrections and improvements to senior management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementing the M & E plan using its tools and reporting formats.
∎ Collect progress data from all sections and compile it in a standard format and produce all quarterly/monthly progress reports, including assist line manager to produce timely progress report to donors.
∎ Provide technical support on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Project Personnel.
∎ Assist the Technical Coordinator in designing and conducting research and impact case studies.
∎ Prepare periodic/final progress reports including 5W report to the education sector and as per UNICEF requirement and SKUS management.
∎ Increase the capacity of project staffs in light of monitoring system by organising relevant training. She/he also trains enumerators in case of in-house studies/surveys, including pre-testing of tools developed for such studies.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Experience :
∎ Minimum 2 years of work experience in Monitoring, Reporting and Quality Assurance.
∎ Experience with quantitative & qualitative data analysis.
∎
∎ Skills :
∎ Intermediate oral and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent knowledge of the local language (Chattagram).
∎ Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and Access.
∎ Capacity to innovate and think creatively.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.
∎ Management and team leadership skills.
∎ Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect and report inconsistencies.

∎ Working Conditions :
∎ The Monitoring Officer is based at SKUS's project office located at Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar.
∎ She/he will spend approximately 50% of his/her time in the field.
∎ She/he may have contact with dissatisfied or abusive individuals.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 55000 - 75000 (Monthly)
