∎ Experience and skilled in the field of Child Protection, Child rights & GBV;
∎ Demonstrated hands-on skills on MS Office packages including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, internet, e-mail, KOBO Toolkit etc.;
∎ Excellent project management, budgeting and organizational management skills;
∎ Ability to work in challenging environments and handle difficult situations;
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills;
∎ Capacity for strategic thinking and problem-solving;
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in both Bangla and English;
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regularly monitor the ongoing activities of the project to ensure that they are being implemented according to the planned timeline, budget, and scope;
∎ Conduct field visits to observe the implementation of activities, interact with beneficiaries, and verify that the services provided meet quality standards and address the needs;
∎ Qualitative and Quantitative Data Collection;
∎ Document and lessons learned throughout the project;
∎ Coordinate with Programme team to develop appropriate monitoring tools and methodologies to ensure both qualitative and quantitative information is collected, collated, and reported ensuring disaggregation of data as appropriate;
∎ Manage hard and soft copy documentation of all M&E files including assessments, reports, case studies and photographs;
∎ Provide regular training / capacity building for programme staff and partners, in all tools and methodologies;
∎ Liaise and coordinate with internal and external actors for collection of relevant statistics and data;
∎ Ensure the communication and dissemination of complaints handling procedures, policies and tools are appropriate to beneficiaries, project staff and other stakeholders drawing on multiple communication channels;
∎ Conduct different survey and prepare report accordingly.
∎ Job Context:
∎ Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of ‘Monitoring and Evaluation Officer’ for ‘Bangladesh-America Maitree Project’ which is finance by USAID and supported by BRAC. The project duration is November 12, 2024 to November 11, 2027. The theme of the project is to prevention of child marriage and gender based violence.
∎ Job Responsibilities:’
