Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline preferably in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Social Work/ Economics.
∎ Some demonstrable experience within a development organization preferably in MIS/M&E related activities.
Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to implement the Child Protection (CP) Project with Rohingya and Host communities under its Humanitarian Preparedness and Response Program, Cox’s Bazar with the support of Save the Children International (SCI) and UNHCR which is assumed to be commenced from October, 2020.
∎ The duration of the project is initially 3 Months (to be extended subject to the provision of project extension for the next year). The position will be recruited for implementing the project based at the Field Office at Gilatoli (Teknaf) with substantial visits at different camps and host community at Teknaf and Ukhia. The job may be regularized after completion of 6 months of services under FIVDB’s pay-scale, rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The MIS Assistant is responsible for data entry of data from routine data collection and assessment surveys and assist MIS Officer in monitoring activities. S/he is reportable to MIS Officer in functional relation with Program Officers.
∎ Data Entry
∎ • Data entry of all data using a provided database;
∎ • Regular visits to project sites to support the data collection process and to cross-check to validity of data.
∎ • Conducting basic analysis of collated data for reporting purposes;
∎ • Assisting in designing formats for field data collection related to child protection activities in the field.
∎ • Updating, cleaning, maintenance and backing up of various databases
∎ • Support in providing regular reports and updates.
∎ • Provide technical support to the Project Officers and Officer - Social Case Work on the database forms, use and documentation.
∎ • Providing assistance to the office staff in preparation of documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
∎ • Staff meeting facilitation, writing meeting minutes, and any other task assigned by Supervisor.
∎ • Preserve all the relevant documents as hard file and soft copy and also produce on demands.
∎ • Share findings from field visits through regular reporting as agreed with the line manager.
∎ • Ensure ways of working are in line with child protection data protection principles and protocols.
∎ Collaboration
∎ • Regularly coordinate and collaborate with Response Team to strengthen programming and impact for children;
∎ • Help create 360°accountability by supporting systems to seek, receive, and respond to beneficiaries’ feedback, suggestions, and complaints.
∎ Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations in Bangladesh, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor;

∎ Age 25 to 50 years

∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural language
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
Salary:
∎ Tk. 28082 (Monthly)
∎ TK. Up to 28,082.00 (Monthly) (fixed; taxes payable to be deducted)
