Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is implementing USAID`s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project in partnership of Save the Children International, Bangladesh with financial assistance of USAID. The project intends to strengthen the systems and standards of maternal and newborn care to reduce the mortality of the mother, newborn and child. The projects also contribute to improved health status, with special focus on maternal, neonatal and child health within primary health care system working with ministry of Health and Family Welfare using coordinated approach.
∎ This position is mainly responsible for operating and providing clinical services at UH&FWC and satellite clinics at union level. She supposes working under the supervision of District Coordinator but keep coordination with Upazila Coordinator. Perform mentorship at UH&FWC. Provide health education to the visitor of the UH&FWC and satellite clinics.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform clinical activities (ANC, NVD and PNC) and services at UH&FWC/USC and satellite clinics.
∎ Perform mentorship of health service provider working at FWC and satellite clinics.
∎ Work in coordination with Upazila Facilitator under the guidance of Upazila Coordinator.
∎ Work a facilitator to capacitate the HSP at UH&FWC and CC level.
∎ Provide health education to the people who come to seek health services.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Shall have sound background of clinical services;
∎ Having good skill on coordination and advocacy skill;
∎ Excellent in team work;
∎ Having 2 years working experience on similar project in a reputed NGO;
∎ Technical knowledge on mother and child, neonate care.
∎ Knowledge on health system in Bangladesh especially primary health care.
∎ Able to capacitate or advice the HSP on safe delivery.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, Power point will added advantage.
Salary: Tk. 29180 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ T/A, Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
