- Should have experience in Adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Gender Based Violence. Candidates will have good communication skills, willing to work in the grass root level, good understanding about clients and their dynamics.
- The MHPSS Counselor is reportable to focal person of the Projcet/Project Manager.

Responsibilities & Context:
Provide Counseling to callers/service seekers
Provide counseling to the beneficiaries in the flood affected areas·
Provide individual or group counseling (psychological first aid (PFA) and psychosocial support (PSS), basic psychoeducational sessions to adolescents and caregivers/ families (when needed)·
Provide mental health counseling focusing on- disaster related trauma, crisis management, Gender based violence issues, and on other psychosocial issues·
Provide information on-
Menstrual Health Management (MHM)-
Sexual and reproductive health-
Gender based violence-
Other related issues
Applied Counseling skills·
Maintain strict confidentiality of callers·
Demonstrate non-judgmental attitudes·
Demonstrate active listening·
Demonstrate good communication skills·
Demonstrate empathy·
Demonstrate unconditional positive regard
Reporting and documentation·
Keep confidential record of client’s information·
Use of resources as per need·
Prepare case analysis report·
Prepare session plan and share with the team accordingly·
Sound knowledge and skills on computer various program and internet
Supervision
Taking regular supervision from related concern·
Maintain proper uses of information after taking supervision·
Keep updated by gathering knowledge through related reading materials
Referral System·
Refer clients to other specialists or other institutions for further assistance, when necessary, using available local referral pathways
Training or session conduction·
Conduct training on Psychosocial counseling and PFA as per need
Job Other Benifits:
Monthly Salary: BDT 47,300/- per month (including all other benefits)
