Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Resource Development Foundation (RDF) is one of the largest nationwide development organizations (NGO) in Bangladesh. RDF is a distinguished development organization with a core mission to advance sustainable agriculture, enhance food security, and promote economic empowerment. The organization’s vision is tailored to address the complex challenges encountered by communities, especially in regions that are highly susceptible to the adverse effects of climate change. RDF has demonstrated committed dedication to improving the quality of life for marginalized populations, such as women and youth, through meticulously planned interventions and strategic partnerships. By leveraging local and national strategies, RDF ensures that its programs are effective, scalable, and sustainable, fostering resilience and self-sufficiency in the communities it serves. The organization is going to implement  5 (Five) years (1st March 2025 to 30 September 2029) Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising rights and building resilience project an integrated approaches to end child early & force marriage (CEFM) project funded by NORAD.  Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising rights and building resilience project will be implemented in Pathogata & Bamna Upazila of Barguna District in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. RDF invites applications from the competent and qualified persons for the following positions. Female candidate are highly encouraged to apply
∎ MERL Officer will be responsible for executing the MERL framework and tools to monitor the project’s result chain. The incumbent will also be responsible for validating monitoring data, preparing periodical narrative and formative reports and providing supports to the central MERL team in Plan International Bangladesh during annual outcome monitoring.
∎ Ensures effective and quality implementation MERL system and tools, validates data, captures learning and reports MERL findings.
∎ Leads data collection process, verification, spot checking, analysis, reporting and sharing of critical findings.
∎ Works with team members for tracking results.
∎ Supports the implementation of Programmed Quality Policy and work with others to facilitate continual learning.
∎ Reports to the Project Coordinator.
