Job Context:
∎ We are looking for Merchandising Manager for our Woven-Bottom Garments factory located in Bhabanipur, Gazipur.
∎ This is "NOT" a costing/product development role rather it is more to do with the execution of orders after the order confirmation, and based in manufacturing plant.
∎ The person should be from in/around Gazipur OR, should be willing to stay in/around Gazipur as this factory is located in Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PRE-PRODUCTION:
∎ Create / Obtain BOM for each single order, monitor the plan of RM in-house dates and monitor inventory based on the production plan.
∎ Communicate exceptions with HO Merchandising team and supplier for exceptions and get the things sorted timely to avoid interruptions to the production plan.
∎ Work with local suppliers to handle the "quality issues of material supplied", and for any "shortage supplies".
∎ Fabric allocation and monitoring:
∎ Monitor fabric book qty/ receive qty / check the possibility of cutting 103%
∎ Allocation of fabric based on scattered deliveries, qty, and instruction to the cutting/stores (Along with Fabric Tech, CAD/CAM Manager, and cutting Manager)
∎ Participate on weekly progress meeting with HO merchandising, follow-up for commitments.
∎ Organize "Pre-Production meeting" with all the requirements (Trim card approvals, Seal Sample approvals, Fabric shade band approvals)
∎ Organize "Risk Assessment meeting" for each order before costing the style.
∎ Contribution to "Pre-Production T&A" (PP T&A)
∎ AFTER START PRODUCTION:
∎ Handle sudden issues during production within a shorter period of time (i.e. Material quality issues etc found during prod, issues to coordinate with customer etc
∎ Monitor all Finishing Materials of BOM based on frozen finishing plan, and check if all finishing materials available 3 days prior to start finishing / packing. Coordinate with Supplier / HO Merchandising for needful.
∎ Monitor on time production samples are dispatched and approved prior to the shipment
∎ All testing samples - monitor the timely approval
∎ Handling issues arises at shipment stage (Packing list / shortage approvals / over shipment approvals / etc)
∎ Contribution to CUT/SHIP ration management
∎ GENERAL:
∎ Active involvement in production planning / implementing the plan
∎ Weekly progress meeting with planning
∎ Weekly progress meeting with HO Merchandising team and subsequent follow up on commitments / plans
∎ Communication with customer / Supplier
∎ Interdepartmental coordination and corporation
∎ Spearhead the factory merchandisers
∎ Play a leadership role @ factory on decision making as a member of middle management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience as a "Merchandising Manager" with the experience in a Factory.
∎ The applicants who has handled LEE/Wrangler/Costco/Kiabi accounts would get preference.

Salary: Negotiable
