Role Overview

We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end development and bulk order process for our Marks & Spencer (M&S) account. The role requires hands-on experience navigating M&S's systems (PLM, BOM, CAD) and working directly with M&S Sourcing Office (SO) teams, so candidates with prior direct M&S account experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Download and manage Development Tech Packs from M&S's PLM system.

• Handle development sample booking, sample fabric booking, and follow-up to ensure timely receipt and turnaround.

• Prepare and upload BOM and other required documents into the M&S system.

• Collect and review CAD consumption data to support development and costing.

• Coordinate bulk buying activities, including tracking, wearer trials, and e-commerce sample bookings.

• Maintain daily email communication with the M&S Sourcing Office and factory teams to address development and production needs.

• Prepare and submit Lab Dip and Strike Off approvals for both development and bulk stages, in line with M&S requirements.

• Track approval status (Tech Pack, Lab Dip, Strike Off, Fit, BOM) and follow up to prevent delays.

• Liaise between the factory, buying office, and M&S SO to resolve development and production issues.

• Maintain accurate records of samples, approvals, and communications for audit and reference.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience working on the M&S account is mandatory, including exposure to M&S PLM, BOM systems, and communication protocols with M&S Sourcing Offices.
