Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate with sound Technical Knowledge & certification.
∎ Graduate in Textile Engineering/Apparel Manufacturing/ Fashion Designing from reputed university or Diploma in Textile will be added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 9 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Ability to Work Under Pressure

Job Context:
∎ Merchandiser ( Knit / Woven/ Sweaters)
∎ Jobs Location: Pukurpar, Zirabo, Ashulia, Savar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Processing & execution of orders from the very initial stage of sampling to final dispatch
∎ Communicate with Factories and Buyers
∎ Follow Up with the Trims & Yarn/fabric Suppliers
∎ Chasing Timelines
∎ Source Fabrics and Trims
∎ Updated Status to Buyers and Management
∎ Costings.
∎ Should have strong knowledge of fabric/yarns
∎ Should have strong communication skill
∎ Experience in Manufacturing/Factories is a Must.
∎ Good Computer knowledge excels & mailing Organized.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Merchandising, Production.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Industrial Engineering, Inspection, Laboratory/ Testing, Printing, Production, Quality, WASHING.
∎ Have sound knowledge on yarns quality and sources.
∎ Have to follow up sampling, production, shipment and hand over goods to forwarder.
∎ Have to report day to day status of orders to buyer.
∎ Have to keep close follow up with yarns and accessories suppliers.
∎ Have to follow up SMS order for short lead time.
∎ Have to keep close follow up with commercial department for import and export purpose.
∎ Have to work under a team and have to report to team leader as well as managing Director.
∎ Experienced in LAB Testing & Relevant Field.
∎ Capable understand buyers sketch and diagram to develop new styles smoothly.
∎ Should have sound knowledge about technical points.
∎ Should have knowledge on payment / L/C terms as well as export-import procedure. Working procedure of an order from development to shipment.
∎ Follow up the fabric quality & test parameter by inspection according to buyer's requirement Search & evaluate new & prospective suppliers.
∎ Maintain L/C Documentation and Shipping.
∎ Fabrics and trims purchasing procedure.
∎ Lead time of fabrics and accessories production, issue PO for procurement
∎ Sample follow up closely with sample section as well as sample fabrics & trims with supplier, track approval process as per T&A to ensure material in-house on timely manner.
∎ Various washing process.
∎ Sketch and diagram to develop correct sample.
∎ Trims Price biotechnological issues.
∎ Print, Embroidery and other value added works.
∎ Have to follow up sampling, production, shipment and hand over goods to forwarder.
∎ Have to report day to day status of orders to buyer, Proper follow up on accessories and Fabric.
∎ Collect all required things to make a sample.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):knowledge on merchandising.
∎ Computer knowledge and experience to work in in ERP.
∎ Excellent communication skills both spoken and written in English.
∎ Commitment, attitude and ability to work as a team.
∎ Must have experience of working on woven, knit, light Jersey products Having excellent product knowledge on heavy jacket.
∎ Sound Garment Technical Knowledge.
∎ Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
∎ Problem Solving Skill.
