Job Context:

We, JIN HONG GARMENTS LTD is a sister concern of DISHANG GROUP (China’s largest manufacturer and exporter of apparel and textiles). We are seeking a skilled and motivated Merchandiser for our Jacket and Woven Garments unit who is fluent in Chinese Language. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing merchandising activities and ensuring effective communication between Chinese merchandising management, buyers/customers, and local production teams. This position requires strong product knowledge in jackets and woven garments, excellent coordination skills, and cultural adaptability to support smooth operations from development to shipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop samples accurately in accordance with customer requirements, specifications, and timelines.

• Maintain regular and effective communication with mother factories, wash units, print and embroidery factories, trims and accessories suppliers, and fabric mills to ensure timely submission and in-house availability of all required items for uninterrupted production.

• Prepare pre-costing sheets and support accurate costing analysis.

• Assist the supervisor in negotiating competitive price quotations to facilitate order confirmation.

• Maintain continuous communication with customers to obtain all necessary information and relay it accurately to the respective factories.

• Arrange and follow up on all required buyer approvals to ensure smooth production flow.

• Prepare and maintain T&A and WIP charts to identify process delays and ensure timely updates in internal systems or customer portals.

• Coordinate with the Commercial team for shipment bookings with forwarders, keep customers informed of shipment status, and follow up on documentation to ensure on-time shipment.

• Support and guide team members by improving their working knowledge, standards, efficiency, and overall performance through day-to-day assistance.

• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the appropriate authority.
