Job Context:
∎ A group of experts has developed a detailed implementation design and operational plan of the Model Urban Clinic for Primary Health Care to Serve Urban Population.
∎ Based on the developed model, Partners in Health and Development - PHD (along with two implementing partners; CMED and NARI MAITREE) has been assigned by UNICEF as the lead organization to implement a competitive and sustainable system to manage GP centers focused on performance-based payment (P4P) system to empanelled health workers and the clinics have a level of autonomy to ensure efficient use of resources while providing quality Primary Health Care. The Aalo clinics are now the part of the health system and essential commodities, such as medicines, vaccines, FP commodities, micronutrients, will be sourced from the Ministry of Health and family Welfare.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct pathological test for the patients as prescribed by General Physician (GP).
∎ Carrying out day to day regular & emergency lab procedures
∎ Documentation of all lab activities including test findings through integrated Digital Healthcare Platform (IDHP). Necessary training will be provided in this regard.
∎ Ensure availability of all related reagents & logistics of Laboratory.
∎ Review stock & initiate requisition for laboratory activities
∎ Ensure care & maintenance of all the lab instruments & equipment
∎ Keep service records and prepare monthly reports
∎ Protect patients, technicians and lab by adhering to infection-control protocols
∎ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
∎ Develops clinic staff's pathological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training clinic staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals.
∎ Maintain liaison with Clinic In Charge (CIC) and GPs for administrative and technical purpose respectively.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Minimum 01 year of experience in a pathological laboratory in a health care facility
∎ Previous experience in working in the urban set-up and knowledge of urban lifestyle will be an advantage
∎ •Must have skills in using smartphones, apps.
∎ •Should have to stay locally at close to the clinic area
∎ Should have the capability of interpersonal communication skills
∎ Ensure confidentiality of all the information acquired during performing work-related tasks, especially patient's information
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
