Responsibilities & Context:
Perform laboratory tests on blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.
Prepare specimens and ensure proper labeling and handling.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment accurately and safely.
Record, analyze, and report test results in a timely manner.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.
Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory tests.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding test results.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with laboratory techniques.
