Diploma in Medical Assistant.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Proficiency in measuring and documenting vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate).
Basic understanding of clinical procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology, patient triage principles, and infection control standards.
Ability to assist in minor diagnostic procedures and operate basic clinical equipment safely.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), patient data entry, and documentation protocols.
Understanding of medication administration guidelines under supervision of a physician or nurse.
Knowledge of patient safety standards and basic emergency response procedures.
Ability to maintain sterile technique and follow
universal precautions
to Technical proficiency: Ability send professional emails, scan and upload documents, organize digital files, and use basic office software (Google Workspace/MS Office).
Comfortable using hospital IT systems, scheduling tools, and communication platforms.

Job Purpose:
The Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This role involves assisting in patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and home or facility-based care, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting operational activities. The Medical Assistant also serves as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience and facilitating smooth coordination between medical, administrative, and support teams.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Perform initial patient assessments, including collecting medical history, identifying current symptoms, and recording vital signs.
Assist medical professionals in consultation time or clinical procedures as assigned.
Attend and support different marketing or outreach events as required by the organization.
Perform nursing or doctor`s home service visits as needed, ensuring safe, professional, and high-quality care.
