Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have Bachelor of Arts or related degree , with work experience in nutrition programme.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Screening using anthropometric measurement among under five children to ensure that the Nutrition in Emergency Response Project activity is delivered with effective and efficient way
∎ Ensuring anthropometric measurement through MUAC, height and weight measurement among children 6-59 months
∎ Initial screening and referral of cases to medical care
∎ Referral of children 0-6 months with breastfeeding difficulties to skilled breastfeeding counseling, and those with acute malnutrition to inpatient care.
∎ Providing support to the Nutrition Counselor for any task at facility or community level as needed.
∎ Maintain register book and share with the team and ensure collaborative work with outreach activities.
∎ Include beneficiary in the register book and identify the SAM/MAM children and refers.
∎ Co-ordinate with OTP in charge/TSFP in charge and outreach supervisor for better integration.
∎ Provide feedback and information to OTP in charge/TSFP in charge and share with M& E team.
∎ Enabling a friendly collaborative working culture within the team, actively sharing information and knowledge to enable the team to ensure effective learning and sharing across the organization. Ensuring the best practices are captured, documented and disseminated at project level and programme level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year experience in data collection and registration in a nutrition and health program.
∎ Have knowledge on management of acute malnutrition, taking anthropometric measurement, supplementary feeding distribution
∎ Clear and understandable hand writing,
∎ Ability to read, write and understand English
∎ Sound knowledge about local culture & local language.
∎ Flexibility to work as required by line manager.
∎ Ability to work in a team
