Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and MEAL Plan in line with the project’s logical framework and donor requirements.
∎ Design and implement a robust data collection, reporting, and management system using tools such as KoBo Collect or SurveyCTO.
∎ Assist in identifying targeted youth beneficiaries and safe sporting spaces based on inclusion criteria and community context.
∎ Analyze program data using SPSS and Power BI to inform project decisions and visualize trends and outcomes.
∎ Prepare narrative reports, MIS updates, success stories, and case studies capturing project progress and impact.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring visits and evaluations to assess program delivery, quality, and reach, particularly among IDPs and climate-affected youth.
∎ Coordinate with government agencies, sports associations, and local stakeholders to advocate for youth empowerment and project sustainability.
∎ Facilitate youth engagement activities and support the integration of sports-based interventions that enhance life skills and psychosocial well-being.
∎ Provide training and mentoring to project staff and community facilitators on MEAL tools, reporting, and accountability.

∎ Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer-Sports for Protection, Resilience and Transformation (SPiRiT) Project.
∎ Job Context:
∎ SOLIDARITY was established in 1992. The organization has built strong, trustworthy relationships with local administration and has been providing technical support to national and international organizations, as well as to local civil society. SOLIDARITY has been operating in Kurigram for 32 years and is widely recognized in its working areas within the Rangpur Division and nationally by other development agencies, including both government and non-government sectors. SOLIDARITY remains deeply committed to the real development of poor and underprivileged communities and the state.
∎ Climate-induced hazards and displacement significantly affect the mental and psychosocial well-being of young people. To support internally displaced populations, particularly youth, the Terre Des Hommes Foundation (Tdh) launched the “Sport for Protection, Resilience, and Transformation (SPiRiT)” project in early 2022. SOLIDARITY has been implementing the SPiRiT project in the Kurigram District. The project is part of the CALL Consortium and is funded by the Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
∎ SOLIDARITY is carrying out the SPiRiT Project in partnership with the Terre Des Hommes Foundation (Tdh) to support climate-vulnerable and internally displaced youth living in the char areas of Kurigram District. The Project MEAL Officer will be responsible for establishing and managing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system for the SPiRiT Project in Kurigram. The role includes developing implementation plans, collecting and analyzing data, supporting youth-focused interventions through sports, and ensuring accountability to affected populations, including internally displaced people (IDPs) and climate-vulnerable youth.
∎ SOLIDARITY is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of MEAL Officer for the “Sports for Protection, Resilience, and Transformation (SPiRiT)” Project, supported by the Terre Des Hommes Foundation (Tdh). The project is expected to run for a maximum period of 36 months, starting in July 2025.
∎ Job location: Kurigram Sadar. The project location is completely based on the Char Area on the basin of The Brahmaputra, Teesta and Dharla rivers.
