∎ Familiar with and abide by the humanitarian response programming, NGO/Red Cross Code of Conduct, Core Humanitarian standards, IASC
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Oral communication skills in Chittagonian and/or Rohingya
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Intermediate level of computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Power Point, SPSS, ICT apps and other database program.
∎ Proven skill in quantitative and report writing
∎ One year hands on experience in MEAL & MIS role of development/emergency projects

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ MEAL Intern will assist the MEAL Manager to maintain MEAL activities including MIS database of the project beneficiaries as per prescribed template of WV BRCR and donor. All information of the project beneficiaries will be maintained in disaggregation of sex age, disability, and location. Data protection policy will be strictly ensured in this regards. S/he will collect the data, conduct visit project area on random basis for quality checking of the performed activities. Furthermore, will conduct On-Site Distribution Monitoring to check on the level of satisfaction from the beneficiaries during the cash distribution process. There will be also Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) which will be conducted immediately after distribution of cash or inputs. He/she will be also responsible and AAP activities.Facilitate and ensuring MEAL data:
∎ Coordinate with MEAL Officers to ensure project beneficiary reached data following all disaggregation of the projects. Collect the data, conduct visit project area on random basis for quality checking of the performed activities. Track up to date the project MEAL data base. Collect CFM data. Provide support MEAL officers for developing and or procuring IEC materials and other logistics. Document all MEAL data, information and reports. Data analysis, storage & reporting:
∎ Assist to Compile, aggregate and analyze data and information elements required to produce standardized information products and implement data/information collection plans for baseline and context-specific data. Assist to prepare and operationalize Database to capture routine monitoring and processing functions installed and maintained. Undertake regular field visits to support implementation of M&E and check the quality of data produced. Assist MEAL Officer for Data aggregation products and analysis produced to meet requirements for quarterly & annual progress reports. MEAL management and administration:
∎ Support MEAL Manager for overall administration, communication and coordination. As per requirement in changing context, support to MEAL Team in performing relevant activities following management decision. Professional and personal development enhanced:
