Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of sewing machines and related equipment.
∎ Ensure all sewing machines, cutting machines, and other production equipment are operating efficiently.
∎ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
∎ Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide quick solutions to avoid production delays.
∎ Train and supervise the mechanical team for effective machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
∎ Ensure compliance with factory safety standards and mechanical regulations.
∎ Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the timely availability of necessary components.
∎ Coordinate with the production and quality teams to optimize machinery performance.
∎ Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to reduce operational expenses.
∎ Maintain records of machine performance, breakdown history, and maintenance activities.
∎ 5-8 years of experience in sewing machine maintenance in a garment factory.
∎ Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines (Juki, Brother, Pegasus, etc.).
∎ Experience in handling automatic and computerized sewing machines is a plus.
∎ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to manage and train a team of mechanics.
∎ Good knowledge of factory safety protocols and compliance requirements.
∎ Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
