∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA, CC.
∎ Training/Trade Course: VAT,TAX.
∎ Skills Required: ACCA

∎ At least 10 year(s)

Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Context:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
∎ Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
∎ Provide innovative tax planning and review income tax returns.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks.
∎ Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
∎ Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices with regards to VAT & TAX.
∎ Manage and coordinate tax audits.
∎ Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
∎ Delivering VAT reporting, ensuring VAT compliance and identifying risk.
∎ Minimising VAT liabilities and compliance issues.
∎ Identifying potential tax planning opportunities.
∎ Receive rebate, treasury deposit & pay VAT and closing balance of Mushak 18 current account.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly return Mushak 19 & prepare Mushak 1 for price declaration.
∎ Good Knowledge about input tax credit, Turnover Tax, Retailer level VAT & VDS, AIT, CD and SD.
∎ Verify and check every day Mushak 11, Mushak 1, Mushak 7, challan and prepare Mushak 20 ( Export challan ) for pay VAT.
∎ Ensure all month end processes are actioned on a timely basis.
∎ Maximise efficiencies in working and reporting systems to reduce the VAT/Duty liabilities where possible within the legislative framework.
∎ Inputting into the group's tax strategy.
∎ Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven work experience as a tax/VAT manager.
∎ Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
∎ Knowledge of tax software.
∎ Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
∎ Sound knowledge in VAT Law.
∎ Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
