Job Context: We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and self-motivated professional to lead our VAT, Tax, and Accounts & Finance department at our Sreemangal location.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all daily operations of the accounting, finance, VAT, and Tax departments.
Lead all kinds of VAT Audit activities, with a strong preference for handling Mushak Goyenda Audit.
Accurately prepare and submit Price Declarations (Mushak 4.3) online within regulatory deadlines.
Perform CA report-based VDS (VAT Deducted at Source) calculations and ensure proper compliance.
Ensure full compliance with national VAT, Income Tax, and Customs regulations, including timely submission of monthly VAT returns (Mushak 9.1) and corporate Tax returns.
Handle corporate tax assessments, hearings, and appeals, and maintain effective coordination with National Board of Revenue (NBR) officials, VAT commissioners, and Tax inspectors.
Deduct proper AIT (Advance Income Tax) and VDS from supplier invoices, issue relevant certificates, and deposit the withheld amounts to the government exchequer timely.
Conduct regular internal tax health checks and reviews to identify potential risks and optimize tax liabilities legally.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the management for cost optimization and financial growth.
